2023 Priorites

To: Former, Present & Future Grantees

At our recent Annual Board meeting, we decided to focus our 2023 mental health and education grants for children, families, and programs as follows:

1.     Program grants from $1,000-$5000 that will allow a nonprofit organization working in the areas of mental health and/or education to add programmatic elements to their 2022-23 work that would not be possible otherwise. In order to qualify for a full $5,000 grant, a nonprofit would have to commit to matching our grant. A portion of these grants are reserved for new grantees.

2.     Expand Staff Appreciation Awards and Awards for Service to Children and Families - with an attached honorarium of $250 - to recognize individual commitment and dedication to the youth, families and organizations they serve.

3.     Continue to offer grants from $100-$1,000 for individuals and families in need of one-time immediate support, including but not limited to COVID related issues.

4.     Given the impact that COVID and other events have had on staff at small non-profits, we will direct small grants to support administrative and overhead expenses that support health care and other basic needs for staff not typically funded in programmatic grants. 2022-23.

For some of you, we have supported your work in the past, and we want to continue to do so, if only in a modest way. For others, we want you to know of our available support and grants.

Our application process is simple, usually needing no more than one page of explanation of the need, the amount, and how it will be used. Check out our website at the link below.

Let us know if we can help you pursue any of our four targeted priorities listed above.

Additionally, if you know of other individuals and programs that might benefit from our support, please let them and us know as your recommendation would go a long way toward our considering that individual’s or organization’s needs.
